 Horror/comedy of the very immature, and hopefully very entertaining variety will be coming our way early next year when Anchor Bay releases the genre spoof Stan Helsing as a rental exclusive on DVD and Blu-ray.
Starring Steve Howey, Diora Baird, Kenan Thompson, and spoof specialist Leslie Nielson, the movie revolves around a video store clerk who, on Halloween night, discovers that he is a descendant of the famed Van Helsing. With the help of three friends - his insanely sexy ex-girlfriend, his best mate, and an exotic dancer, Stan must save a cursed town from an evil collection of feared horror icons including Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, Chucky, and Michael Myers.
Due in stores on February 10 both the DVD and BD releases will include an audio commentary with writer/director Bo Zenga and actors Kenan Thompson and Desi Lydic; Killer Parody: The Making of Stan Helsing; Extended, alternate, and deleted scenes; outtakes; stills gallery and storyboard gallery.
