The Runs DVD Art
Posted by: Craig Villinger on April 6, 2009 Share Comments (5)
Anchor Bay has provided us with the artwork for I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer, which they will be releasing as a rental disc on June 3.

The Runs Cover Art

Along with a 16:9 enhanced widescreen presentation and 5.1 sound Anchor Bay's DVD will be packed with extras including an audio commentary by director's Stacey Edmonds and Doug Turner (moderated by DR's David Michael Brown); making of featurette; "Bloody FX" featurette; Canteen scene grade; Joadja diary; Audio mix diary; Uncut shower scene (Guess what we'll be watching first!); Abetoir Film Festival Q & A; and Hell City Glamours - "White Trash, Hot Love" music video.

You should damn well know what this movie is about by now as we've been covering it for over two years, but just in case you've been hiding under a rock, or just got yourself plugged in to the W's a few hours ago, it's a tale of bloody revenge that deals with a moustachioed cricketer who hunts down and murders the teammates that viciously bullied him 20 years earlier, utilizing an arsenal of lethal cricketing implements including a razor sharp cricket glove and sharpened stumps.

Internationally, I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer will be released in the UK through Anchor Bay on June 29, and in the US the rights have acquired by Lono Entertainment, who are planning a release in the second half of 2009.

    Thanks!

Now it's all down to whether Blockbuster/EzyDVD get it in! Apparently Leading Edge are very interested... unfortunately it's not a foregone conclusion that all new releases are in all rental stores.

If anyone out there knows anyone who runs a video store, put in a good word and I buy you a beer ;)

    Cheers, Doug.
