Anchor Bay has confirmed both the Australian and UK release dates for I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer. Share our joy, or face the wrath of a disgruntled 12th man!
Locally The Runs will be available as a rental disc from June 3. A retail date hasn't been conformed yet, but hopefully it'll be on shelves before the domestic cricket season gets underway. Extras will include: Making runs; Bloody FX; Canteen scene grade; Joadja diary; Audio mix diary; Director's commentary; Shower scene uncut (woo hoo!); Abetoir Film Festival Q & A; and Hell City Glamours - "White Trash, Hot Love" music video.
Over in the UK the disc will be available to rent or buy from June 29 with the above features, and we've also been told that The Runs has now secured a US distribution deal as well, which is a noteworthy achievement for a low budget Australian movie about a sport most American's probably don't care much for.
If you can't wait until June, I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer will be making its Australian premiere on March 26 as part of the A Night of Horror film festival. Get along!
And if that's not enough Runs related goodness for you, a brand new one sheet has just been released, which once again uses the "nails in the cricket ball" image that we are sure will be as iconic as Jason's mask or Freddy's glove in years to come.
