 The A Night of Horror film festival is now accepting entries for its 2009 event. The festival, which has quickly become one of Australia's most respected genre events and is now in its third year, actively promotes independent horror films from Australia and around the world.
For the 2009 shindig, which is set to take place in Sydney from March 25 to April 3, the festival is seeking Horror feature films, Horror short films, Horror short animations, Short films inspired by the writings of H. P. Lovecraft, Horror-themed music videos, Horror Screenplays (Feature), and Horror Screenplays (Short).
The winning entries, to be chosen by a jury of film and media professionals, will receive a share in several thousand dollars worth of cash and prizes as well as major media exposure. Plus, with a bit of luck they'll also be discussed and dissected on the Digital Retribution Message
Forum, which would surely be the greatest prize of all! Well, OK, the cash is probably better.
