You may remember a while back we interviewed Melbourne based director Daniel Armstrong about the zombie horror flick The Disturbed from Strongman Pictures (here). Unfortunately The Disturbed hasn't gotten off the ground yet, but Strongman Pictures has just commenced principal photography on something completely different – From Parts Unknown, which will be shot in and around Melbourne over the next three months.

Produced in association with PCWe (Pro Championship Wrestling Entertainment - Australia's longest running professional wrestling promotion), From Parts Unknown is described as a "romantic, science-fiction, comedy about video games, professional wrestling, nano-technology, and the end of the world" and focuses on Charlie, whose dreams of becoming a professional wrestler are frustrated by relationship hassles, the unwanted advances from one of her co-workers and an over-bearing boss, not to mention the impending end of the world brought about by a video game based on some unstable ex-military technology!
