Well, that'd certainly be horrific...

So the two best stars they had - Freddy and Chucky - are now out.... hmmm i wonder if they'll be replaced with the guy that controlled the Razorback monster and the grip on Wolf Creek.

They told me they have confirmed some new guests to replace him, but wouldn't tell me who.

That's most likely because they had no f**** idea...

Guests canceling at the last moment is very common. I dont think I've been to a single con where this hasn't happened.

They're stalling for time and scrounging for whatever celeb they can afford to get down here before making the announcement. Good luck to them. Rob Englund is a pretty big icon.

Lets for arguments sake just say this: Regardless of guests cancelling, I believe if the organisers properly updated their website, and their fans for that matter this wouldn't seem so dodgy, these things happen but when they try to act like nothing is wrong and stay quiet it just creates more dissent.

Granted on one on this site will be going to it, even if George A. Romero himself was there :p

There's no longer any mention of Tony Todd on the Hub Productions website. At the moment it just says "with Julie Benz, Jeffrey Combs, Suicide Girls".

Hmm, I can still see Tony Todd on website...
Only on the 'Guests' link though.

Very True.

Change of advertised guests due to work commitments or other circumstances does not qualify for ticket refunds. Please note that every effort will be made to replace the guests.

Maybe they're keeping Robert Englund on the website just a little longer so they can sell more tickets.

Okay...Just got a email from them saying this:

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the Hub of Horror.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, this event is being postponed to November this year. Please check back in the next few days, when the website will be updated with full details regarding the postponement.

Regards,
The Hub Team

Would have been nice if the person i spoke to on the phone today had mentioned that!

Probably just as well - better to postpone and salvage rather than carry on and have no-one turn up.
