Slacker desk clerks at a once grand hotel go looking for signs of paranormal activity and find more than they bargained for in Ti West's The Innkeepers, which is heading to Blu-ray and DVD on August 23 from Accent Film Entertainment after a well received theatrical run in Melbourne. Extras will include two audio commentaries (the first with Writer/Director Ti West, Producer Peter Phock, Producer Larry Fessenden and 2nd Unit Director Graham Reznick, the second with West and actors Sara Paxton and Pat Healy) "Innkeepers Behind the Scenes" featurette and the theatrical trailer.
For desk clerks Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy), it's business as usual at the historic Yankee Pedlar Inn. Aside from tending to the few remaining guests and prepping the place for its imminent closure, there's paranormal activity to explore and sexual tension to work through. Placing microphones in vacant rooms in the hope of recording a ghost and discussing the suicide of a jilted young bride whose body was buried in the basement nearly a century ago, the pair soon comes to understand a new meaning for the term Do Not Disturb....
