Who Will Be Crowned Master Terrorist?

EliminatedTerrorism is no laughing matter, but that probably won't stop us from laughing along with this forthcoming flick!

The makers 2007's The Jammed, a critically acclaimed thriller about Melbourne's human trafficking and sex trade industry, are back with something a little different: a subversive action-comedy that combines the equally despicable worlds of reality television and terrorism!

In Eliminated, which begun shooting in Melbourne this week, a group of young contestants are put through a series of challenges to see who will be crowned "Master Terrorist". Appraised by a panel of judges (pictured to the left - click to enlarge the image), the wannabe terrorists must be cunning, resourceful, and co-operative, with their tasks involving everything from interrogation to torture! Writer/director Dee McLachlan explains "Like Masterchef, The Apprentice or Survivor, our film follows in the true tradition of reality style shows – but with a twist".

Eliminated features a cast of young dramatic and comedy actors, including Veronica Sywak and Masa Yamaguchi (both from The Jammed) along with Osamah Sami, Richard Cawthorne, Frieda Mckenna, Leah De Niese, Sachin Joab, Kendal Rae and award winning stage actor and musician Matt Hetherington. The film will be distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Titan View.

No sign of an official site yet, but you can follow Eliminated's production progress on Twitter.
