Romance and Torture Come Together in 'Love of My Life'

At first glance, the title may make this Australian production sound like something you'd watch on Valentine's Day with a heart shaped box of choccies on your lap, but according to our classification overlords the upcoming DVD will contain "strong violence" people. Strong violence!

On March 11, 2015 Eagle Entertainment will release Love of My Life, a psychological thriller that sees an unfortunate individual held captive by a deranged surgeon and forced to make a pretty tough choice: his love, or his life?

Inside the operating theatre of an abandoned hospital, a young man is strapped to a table as a single monitor broadcasts images of his girlfriend trapped downstairs. A man appears, dressed in surgeon's scrubs, and explains the situation: he will be tortured for five days, then killed, at which point, his girlfriend will be released. However, if he cannot endure the indescribable torment, his beloved will be put to death in his place...

Love of My Life stars Peter O'Brien as the medical deviate, Diarmid Heidenreich, and The Tunnel's Bel Delia, and is directed by Michael Budd.
