Flying Spider Bats Take Over The World in 'M is for Mutant!'

Just two days ago we were hyping-up the filmography of writer/director Stuart Simpson while sharing the teaser for his upcoming feature Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla, and now another title has been added to his resume with the release of M is for Mutant!, a three minute short created specifically for The ABCs of Death 2's "The Search for the 26th Director" contest.

In M is for Mutant! death comes in the form of face-bursting flying spider bats with a ferocious appetite. Chaos and panic grip the streets of suburban Australia, but as the apocalypse unfolds around them one trigger happy couple appear to be having the time of their lives.

M is for Mutant! is online for your viewing pleasure right now over at the ABCs of Death 2 website, and you can show your support by clicking the Facebook Like button above the video.

Voting ends on November 14th, and the winning entry will be included in the upcoming ABCs of Death 2 along with shorts from filmmakers such as Vincenzo Natali, Álex de la Iglesia, Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, Sion Sono, and Jen & Sylvia Soska. M is for Mutant! is a slick, gory, and thoroughly entertaining short and we'd love to see Stu's work featured among such names. Get voting now folks!
