Axe Giant Puts the Chop on Wayward Youth

A bunch of city slickers go to the woods and get chopped up by an axe wielding killer? Yeah, yeah we've heard it all before, right? Well, not quite, because the wielder of this axe happens to be a centuries old, fifteen-foot giant!

OK, that got our attention.

Chopping its way to DVD on September 18 as part of Eagle Entertainment's "Monsterama Collection", Axe Giant takes the story of American folklore hero Paul Bunyan and gives it a cheesy B-movie twist as a group of juvenile delinquents on a rural first-time offender’s programme incur the wrath of the axe wielding behemoth, who was banished from town 100 years prior and does not appear to be very welcoming of visitors who venture into his woodsy domain.

When a killer is big enough to squeeze the life out of a poor grizzly with his bare hands you've got to wonder what chance these socially maladjusted youngsters have...
