Home Invasion: American Horror Story Season One

American Horror Story

After playing on both free-to-air and cable TV locally the first season of American Horror Story will be available to own on DVD and Blu-ray from October 24, and you'll only need one look at the fetishly dressed freak above to know this won't be anything like the wholesome family dramas and competitive dancing shows we're usually subjected to on commercial TV.

Putting a decidedly psycho-sexual spin on the typical haunted house set-up, American Horror Story sees troubled husband and wife Ben and Vivien Harmon (Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton) along with their daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga) looking to rebuild their lives and make a fresh start in a new city. There's only one problem - their new home has a dark and horrific past, and the families dreams of a cheerier future quickly descend into a nightmare as their new house's history of love, sex and murder begins to unravel through a series of twisted events.

Twentieth Century Fox's 4 disc box set will serve up a host of extras including a tour of the murder house, a making-of documentary, and a look inside the creation of American Horror Story Season 1's Title Sequence. A limited edition Blu-ray box set will also be available exclusively from JB Hi-Fi with collector's character cards and bonus t-shirt.

As well as the cover art Twentieth Century Fox has also sent us a clip from the "Murder House" featurette you'll find on the American Horror Story Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD release. Ogle them both below.
