A Long Night of Short Horror

When it comes to short film festivals in Australia that event known as Tropfest gets most of the attention, but do they have blood drenched exploitation oddities? Vampires? Zombies? Animated adaptations of H.P. Lovecraft short stories? Probably not. One film fest does however, and it will be playing in Sydney later this month! According to organisers, the A Night of Horror – Short Film Festival will deliver the best and bloodiest short horror films from Australia and the world, and if you need more incentive than that to get off your arse and check it out then that arse needs a good kicking!

A Night of Horror will be running from Friday March 23 to Sunday March 25.  The Friday and Saturday night screenings will be held at the Chauvel Cinema, Paddington, while the Sunday screenings and awards night will take place in The Auditorium, located in the Paddington RSL.

More details can be found at the festival's official website: www.anightofhorror.com

Tickets to the festival are available from MCA-TIX on: 1300 306 776 or www.mca-tix.com.
