Interview with Director Daniel Armstrong (The Disturbed)
By: Craig Villinger on October 8, 2006  |  Comments ()  |  Share
A wheelchair bound Vietnam veteran, a carefree police officer, a gun toting reverend… all must fight for their lives as the victims of cruel and unusual medical experiments become flesh eating zombies and take over an isolated country asylum in a new Australian horror film from Strongman Pictures - THE DISTURBED.

When I first saw the teaser trailer for THE DISTURBED I decided this was a movie I had to see without a moment's hesitation. After all, in just under two and a half minutes it gave us a gun toting priest, a creepy looking asylum, zombie hordes, gore, shotguns, and sexy women with chainsaws… but there was just one hurdle to negotiate before I could enjoy my evening of zombie bliss – the full length film hasn't actually been made yet! Bugger.

Strongman Pictures is currently seeking funds to make their concept for THE DISTURBED into a feature film, and Writer/Producer/Director Daniel Armstrong took a break from schmoozing with potential investors to chat with Digital Retribution about the process of turning an idea into a trailer, and a trailer into a full length motion picture.
